Why Neurodiverse Yoga?

The neurodivergent community has high levels of unemployment, mental health issues and trauma.

Neurodivergent people are not being educated on how to regulate their unique nervous system, even though they are the ones who could benefit the most from it.

Yoga, meditation and mindfulness can help to regulate the nervous system, help ease burnout, sensory overload and can help regulate emotions. Not to mention the thousands of other mental and physical benefits that it can have for a neurodivergent people

Personalised Yoga

My personal vision for neurodiverse yoga is to help increase accessibility, inclusivity and acceptance of differences in the world of yoga.

As such, my idea was to create personalised yoga courses/videos and work 1 on 1 with individuals that may be neurodivergent, disabled, have an injury or have gone through trauma

I work with you in your own way to create specific personalised yoga videos covering anything you may need individually, whether that may be to;

  • work on a specific area like building strength, gaining more flexibility or learning tools to regulate your nervous system

  • create a consistent yoga practice

  • want to learn how to practice yoga as a disabled person

  • or need classes catered to your neurodivergence

Whatever it may be, I'm here to listen and meet you where you are at!
